Perhatian bangsa Amerika terhadap kinerja ekselen sangat tinggi, sehingga President Amerika sendiri yang langsung memberikan Award MBNQA kepada Perusahaan Amerika yang kinerja-nya ekselen yang diukur melalui kinerja Malcolm Baldridge Criteria. MBNQA Award satu satunya Award yang langsung diberikan oleh President Amerika.
